So it's finally done. After about 350 layers, 30 hours (spread across a week), 50 Megs of plain Photoshop layers, an A4 with every millimeter filled with design documentation... It's done.
But what is it? It's a design. A concept design. A fully featured concept design. This, this is how I would switch to Ubuntu in a snap. Without asking any questions, without doubting for a second. But frankly, this isn't real yet. And I'm not sure it ever will be. Unless, of course, I find some good programmers to get this done. *hint hint*
Read the notes on the design. I also absolutely demand that you speak of any problems you may have regarding aspects of the design.
Now, a question. Would you use this? Would this be enough to get you to switch to Ubuntu for good, or partially?
As part of reading the artist's comments, I provide you with an amusing fact: The making of 'screenshots' (hiding, un-hiding and moving of hundreds of layers) took far longer than any certain aspect of the design (Social networking menu, for example).
