Welcome!

Well, I haven't updated my journal for a LONG LONG LONG time I mean REALLY :P. There are lots of things that has happened in that little amount of time  cough... little...

So let's get started :P

The Mystic Mug: Part 2

My last journal was about THE mug  it took a LONG time to arrive :shakefist: But overall its nice :) The shape was a bit weird at the start... but I think the picture on it makes it better :eyes:

Also, it is HUGE! I mean I've never seen that big of a mug :omfg: not the width but height :o

All n all it's a great mug and I love it :aww:

Hardware updates :eyes:

Well I've purchased some new hardware as well :) due the fact that I haven't been able to play Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars that well  cough... So what did I buy?

At first I bought myself a new graphics card which is a XFX GeForce 9600 GT and I've overclocked it at 750MHz.

Then it turns out that wasn't my only problem and I purchased some more RAM which was 2GB of PC2-6400 800MHz ram (Cruical Ballistix, or something like that).

Well and NOW it turns out that even that wasn't my only problem :shakefist: I have to buy a new processor as well and I might be just a little crazy but I think if I buy a new processor I am going to buy a new motherboard next thing... :paranoid:

Also my mouse got crappy and now I am using another mouse which I am not really used to :tears:

I'm thinking of buying an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ (Black edition) for my processor

Vista coughs...

Y'all know I have Vista Ultimate installed on my computer :paranoid: but what you probably don't know is that I have had some pretty damn a lot of trouble updating my Vista :shakefist: There is this update for Vista Ultimate and it has something to do with the Ultimate Extra called BitLock... I'm not going to go into that but basically I need to install this new update in order to get newer updates to work and the thing is that this BitLock update just keeps failing to update. It JUST wont update it, it downloads the update and as if installs it and then when I restart etc. It just says it has failed. I've looked on some forums and I've seen some solutions but none of them worked for me... well I only looked one topic and the other ones were basically the same

Do NOT tell me shit about Vista, it has its shit performance and bugs but other than that it is a very good operating system. Since I got new ram now, I can work with vista just fine.

Crysis :eyes:

Now since I bought a new graphics card... I was just wondering if I could play crysis  and I was able to, and I played the demo and I just loved it. I think a week later or even less, I bought the game from EA Store :P It's a great game and it performs very well EVEN in vista, yes. I can play with medium settings and 2x anti-aliasing, no problems whatsoever and well... if I had a better processor I could probably set some settings higher but... I don't :hmm:

Thanks for reading!

I think I've covered it all now :p :evileye: *reads it all quickly* huzzah! :evillaugh: I've covered it :P!

See you guys n gals next time

Well it doesn't really depend on me as much as it depends on the coder because I am a really fast designer and it's not that I would do cheap or lousy job... I don't know why it is but I always seem to make a design in 1-4 hours and it doesn't matter how good or complex the design is :hmm: Now with the coder, thats a lot different. The coder has to slice the design, hand code it and then integrate it with WordPress. We may be talking about 4 hours to a week. So it mostly depends on the coder and how fast will I be able to find a coder because I do not do coding myself. I do know a very good coder who does his work fast so you do NOT have to worry about anything.

Ok great thanks. That was very helpful. And if I didn't have taste I wouldn't have come to you, now would I? ;) So what kind of time frame are we talking about, from obtaining my details and handing it over....given a few edits?

well basically you get everything included in your design, let's say I have to design a menu button and it has a hover effect so basically fully designed means that I have the hover effect designed out for all of the menu buttons when in most cases you will get a hover effect designed for only one button and you have to figure out the other ones yourself. Now fully customized means that you will get whatever you want, like if I make something by your request and you don't like something then you don't have to buy something you don't like, I will customize it until you like it :eyes: after a 100 edits well then I'd have to say you have no taste  I'm just kidding :p

I would need to know what is your website about, what kind of style or websites do you like. What colors do you prefer and basically any info you can give me about the website topic.
~nophil:iconnophil: 6 days 8 hours ago
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "fully designed & customized"? I mean, what other option would I have? Also, what kind of info would you require from me to design one? And what exactly do you do to customize it?

I'm kinda new to this so please bear with me here. Thanks for the quick reply.

Fully designed and customized design costs about $50 + $50 for coding and well $100.

Hi...

I'm looking into starting a corporate blog for my organization and was thinking of having the theme designed. Its a Wordpress blog.

Just for my information, can you give me an idea how much something like that would cost? I really like your work!
